Collection: SUMINAGASHI PRESSED FLORA NOTECARDS | WALKING DUNES

Where Shoreline Stillness Meets the Art of Paper
The Walking Dunes series from CEDAR Y SAND’s Suminagashi Springs Collection captures the quiet harmony of the East End’s shifting coastal landscape. Each notecard begins with hand-marbled Suminagashi Hosho paper—an ancient Japanese technique where ink drifts across water to form delicate, tide-like veining. Once dried, the marbled paper becomes the canvas for pressed wild grasses and coastal flora, carefully composed by hand in our East Hampton studio.

Subtle palettes of oat, plume, and wheat echo the tones of dune grass and salt air—each piece a reflection of nature’s effortless balance. No two are ever alike.

Designed for correspondence or display, these one-of-a-kind cards celebrate the meeting of land and sea, ink and bloom, art and stillness.

Artistry in Bloom, from Shore to Studio.
