The Garden Fog series from CEDAR Y SAND’s Suminagashi Springs Collection captures the quiet beauty of a garden at dawn—muted, tranquil, and softly veined in tone. Each notecard begins with hand-marbled Suminagashi Hosho paper, a centuries-old Japanese technique where ink drifts gently across water, forming organic, tide-like veining that mirrors morning mist. Onto this marbled canvas, pressed florals are arranged by hand in our East Hampton studio, blending the meditative flow of ink with nature’s fragile stillness.

With hues of lavender, plum, ash, and lilac, every composition is unique—delicate impressions of flora enveloped in soft gray light.
