Playful Motion on Paper
Our Surfin’ Flipper Slider Notecard brings a wave of whimsy to the Suminagashi Springs collection. Hand Designed with interactive cut-paper layers, the dolphin is set on a hidden slider that makes it leap from the waves when the card is tilted or gently moved.
Suminagashi Waves, Coastal Fun
The waves feature a subtle suminagashi marbling effect, echoing the rhythm of water in motion. Paired with the clean silhouette of a dolphin, the design combines Japanese marbling tradition with playful coastal storytelling.
Dual Purpose: Write or Frame
Each notecard is embossed with the CEDAR Y SAND insignia on the back, comes with a blank liner insert for easy writing, and is paired with a matching envelope. Beyond correspondence, the interactive design also makes this card perfect to frame—turning a playful note into lasting coastal art.

FAQ
FAQ
Q: How does the slider work?
A: The dolphin is attached to a hidden slider mechanism that lets it “leap” from the waves when the card is tilted or gently moved—adding an interactive touch of motion to your message.
Q: Can the card be framed?
A: Yes. Each notecard is designed to be as frameable as it is functional. Its layered cut-paper waves and dolphin detail make it especially well-suited for shadow box frames, which showcase its playful dimension as coastal art.
