Crafted on Hosho Paper
Made from traditional Japanese Hosho paper, each notecard is marbled on the front and back using suminagashi, the centuries-old Japanese art of “floating ink,” which transforms ink on water into intricate, fluid patterns, which are then expertly transferred to hosho paper. Each card has our CEDAR Y SAND insignia embossed on the back and comes with a blank paper liner insert, making them as functional as they are artful.
Giftable & Versatile
Sold as a curated set of six, each notecard is paired with a matching envelope and presented neatly packaged for gifting. Ideal for correspondence, thank-yous, or framed as miniature works of art, these cards bring a tide of moods in one elegant box.

FAQ
FAQ
Q: What is Hosho paper?
A: Hosho paper is a traditional Japanese washi made from the inner bark of the kōzo (mulberry) plant. Known for its strength, fine texture, and durability, it has long been used for printmaking and calligraphy. Its smooth yet resilient surface makes it ideal for marbling while remaining archival quality.
Q: Can I easily write inside the cards?
A: Yes. Each notecard includes a blank paper liner insert, providing a smooth surface for writing while preserving the texture and artistry of the Hosho paper.
