Where the Coast Meets the Meadow
Crafted by CEDAR Y SAND in our East Hampton studio, Walking Dunes Oat captures the quiet harmony between shoreline and field. Each notecard begins with hand-marbled Suminagashi Hosho paper—an ancient Japanese technique where ink floats across water, forming delicate tide-like veining. Once dry, the marbled base becomes a backdrop for pressed wild grains and coastal flora gathered in gentle, neutral tones.
A Soft Whisper of Sand and Sky
Part of the Suminagashi Springs collection, Walking Dunes Oat evokes the muted hues of sunlit dunes—soft golds, pale wheat, and coastal grasses touched by salt air. Each composition is unique, reflecting the natural rhythm of wind, ink, and sea.
