A Botanical Study in Balance
Crafted by CEDAR Y SAND in our East Hampton studio, the Meadow Yarrow I & II notecards capture the quiet symmetry and delicate structure of wild yarrow in bloom. Each piece begins with hand-marbled Suminagashi Hosho paper—an ancient Japanese technique where ink drifts across water, forming soft, organic veining that mirrors the rhythm of nature itself.
Two Expressions of the Same Bloom
Part of the Suminagashi Springs collection, this offering includes two variations—Yarrow I and Yarrow II—each interpreting the same botanical through a slightly different composition. Fine, clustered florets radiate outward in airy formations, anchored by slender stems and intricate foliage. Subtle tonal shifts of cream, soft green, and warm neutrals evoke sunlit meadows and the quiet elegance of wild growth.
Each pattern forms organically—never controlled, never repeated.
A Choice of Composition
Select between two unique arrangements, each one-of-a-kind. Whether drawn to the openness of Yarrow I or the fuller, grounded presence of Yarrow II, both offer a timeless, natural expression—equally suited for sending or framing.
For Notes Meant to Be Kept
Inside, a blank liner awaits your handwritten message. Paired with an embossed CEDAR Y SAND envelope, each notecard becomes both gesture and keepsake—crafted by hand, shaped by nature.

Q: Are the flowers real?
A: Yes. Each notecard features genuine, hand-pressed florals carefully preserved and arranged on marbled Hosho paper, highlighting the intersection of nature and traditional craft.
