The vellum top layer carries a festive sentiment—JOY, MERRY, or CHEER—while the pearlized marbled paper beneath brings gentle tide-like motion to the surface. Made using the ancient Japanese marbling technique Suminagashi—“floating ink”—each marbled layer carries its own softly unique waves.
