A Study in Form & Light
Handcrafted by CEDAR Y SAND in our East Hampton studio, Lily of the Valley captures the quiet elegance of spring’s most delicate bloom. Each notecard begins with hand-marbled Suminagashi Hosho paper—where ink drifts across water to form soft, flowing patterns reminiscent of light on water.
Layered atop this surface, paper-cut botanical forms are individually shaped and placed by hand. The gentle sculpting creates a subtle dimensional effect—petals that lift ever so slightly from the page, offering a refined interplay of shadow and form.
A Composition of Soft Greens & Whites
Defined by fresh green leaves and small white bell-shaped blossoms, this design reflects the understated beauty of early spring. While the composition remains true to the lily of the valley form, each piece is entirely unique—guided by the natural variation of the marbled background and the hand-sculpted placement of each element.
No two are ever exactly alike.
For Words Meant to Linger
Blank inside liner for your handwritten message and paired with a softly gray toned envelope embossed with the CEDAR Y SAND insignia. Ideal for notes of gratitude, renewal, sympathy, or quiet celebration—moments where simplicity carries meaning.
Artistry, Reimagined in Paper
Part of the Suminagashi Springs collection, this notecard reinterprets botanical study through cut paper and marbling—where traditional technique meets modern, sculptural design.
