Crafted by CEDAR Y SAND in our East Hampton studio, this autumn set celebrates the season’s warmth through paper, light, and traditional craft. Each notecard is hand-cut to reveal softly marbled suminagashi paper—an ancient Japanese technique where ink drifts across water to form delicate, tide-like veining. When illuminated, the patterns come alive, transforming a simple card into a gentle lantern of shifting light and texture.

A Season, Cut and Carved

The duo pairs two autumn silhouettes: a pumpkin-colored “Gourd Out” design and a butternut-toned “Fallin’” leaf motif. Together, they capture the playful spirit of the harvest season—one bold and rounded, the other airy and organic. No two marbled backings are ever alike; each carries its own rhythm of ink and water, echoing the quiet motion of falling leaves and glowing gourds.

Artisan-Made and Gift-Ready

Each card includes a blank interior liner for personal notes and embossed CEDAR Y SAND envelopes, presented in a kraft box with two LED tealights (batteries included).
